Lewis Perdicou MSW RSW

** I am not currently accepting new clients **

I specialize in supporting people with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and challenges facing the Black, Racialized, and Queer communities.

Meeting with a stranger to talk about all of your life’s challenges can be… intimidating!

That’s why as I created perdicou psychotherapy the words “honest & relational” were so important to me – to truly reflect not only my style of therapy practice, but also my personal beliefs.

You are the expert in your life, I just know how to do therapy.

The way that you navigate the world and structures within it can have such an incredible impact on how you view self, those around you, and the rules that you create in order to move through life in a safer way. Your body and mind have done so much wonderful work to bring you through the world and have created some amazing coping strategies and skills to get you here.

Sometimes, we develop an over-reliance on those views and rules about self and world, coping strategies, and those skills which can in turn end up standing in our way. Together, I hope to support you toward a place of balance, and finding a way for all of those things to become more adaptable and grow with you.

I have spent my career in the addictions and mental health field and am passionate about the work that I do. As a member of both the Queer, and Black communities it is important to me that I am able to show up not only as an RSW, Psychotherapist but also as my authentic self. I strive to create a safer and affirming space in session for clients, and to bring awareness of mental health into my communities.

Therapists and clients alike who look like me, love like me, and function like me are not typically welcomed in white, heteronormative mental health spaces – perdicou psychotherapy is here to change that.

Honest & relational therapy – it’s time to put you first.
